Making of the Adobe House

The following photographs show the different phases of the Adobe House Construction

20 truckloads of sand built up the construction area

Local logs were debarked and coated with tar

Logs were placed 4 feet deep to form the main structure

Logs joined horizontally with special screws

Basic Structure completed with local logs

Walls made with mud and straw

Walls and doors made from pallets and waste wood

Adobe House ready for move-in after 2 years
